Finally! Good Turkey Pictures

Everybody except me has been getting great pictures of the Harvard Square turkey.  I've kept my camera handy for days and checked out favorite turkey haunts on my breaks.  Today, the turkey reappeared at the tiny garden outside the Inn at Harvard.  Gaze upon its magnificence!  (The turkey's; not the Inn's.)

This turkey was hanging out in the tiny park attached to the Inn at Harvard. 

A petting zoo helps lower our blood pressure on Thursdays.

Spring Update, or This Bud's for you

Here's a picture of the robin's nest in the Pusey Pit tree from above.  You can see the ribbons, at least.

Here's some flowering bushes in back of Wadsworth House.  I don't know what they are.

The flowers on these trees have already fallen off.

Harvard Yard is not too crowded.

A Robin with a Ribbon

The Map people notified me of a new robin's nest visible from their windows.  But this robin found some ribbon to weave into her nest.  It's very charming.

 

The windows are pretty dirty, so I had a hard time getting a clear picture.

Doggone!

There were a zillion prairie dogs in the Valles Caldera, but I couldn't get a good shot of any of them.  The closest I got was one of a prairie dog butt as it dived into its hole.  I had to borrow pictures from Chuck.  Here they are, after the usual Photoshopping.

Mt. Auburn Animals

Last Thursday Laureen and I took a walk in Mount Auburn Cemetery.  I was especially keen to see critters.  I'd once seen a Great Blue Heron there.

Here's a baby bunny nibbling grass near a pond.

Here's a handsome hawk strutting among the tombstones.

Here's a busy mother turkey.  We met an elderly man who spent a lot of time there.  He told us that coyotes came out near evening, and he showed us a picture on his camera.  It looked something like the following:
