A Fabulous Reward..

...to the person who can identify this fungus (?) that appeared in my patio. It looks like a Swiss-cheese mushroom.
UPDATE: Chuck has identified the mystery mushrooms as morels (though we won't eat them just in case they are some super-poisonous look-alike), so he will receive a fabulous reward!

My Vacation Continued.

We went to Santa Fe and picked up Barb's daughter, Lydia, who goes to St. John's. Then we did Canyon Road.

The Mattapan-Ashmont Line

Mary and I take a trip to the famous Mattapan-Ashmont Line. At one end of the Red Line, you can ride historically significant (and uncomfortable) old trolley cars.



Then we head for the historically significant (and delicious) North End.


The Zakim Bridge is part of the infamous Big Dig.
