I'm on my third bread machine, and finally I tried out the jam setting. Last night I made kiwi, strawberry, pineapple jam. Your local grocery store has fruit pectin that works with low or no sugar, if you like jam that is not too sweet. I tried making blueberry jam without pectin, and it was more like sauce.

I never heard of a bread maker with a jam setting. Sounds like a good idea.

But when the pomegranate crop comes in I'll be hovering over the hot stove making my jelly. I don't have an automated jam maker.
